One on One with Gussie Roc: Narciso Rodriguez
Gussie: What you do for a living?
Narciso: I am a fashion designer for a living but love taking photographs as well. When I am not sketching I am taking pictures.
Gussie: Albert Einstein felt like every person should leave the world a gift because life itself is a gift. Can you tell me what gift you would like to leave behind one day?
Narciso: Someday, on a professional level, I would like the body work I leave behind be considered to have been something that brought beauty to the world. On a personal level I would like to create a place where the underprivileged and disabled can be taught. It is something I have considered doing in South America. I also love children a great deal so it might also be geared towards the young and their families.
Gussie: What would your friends say that they like most about you? What do you like most about your very best friend?
Narciso: My friends would say that I am a good person with a wicked sense of humor who is very passionate about his work. The trait that I admire most in them is that they are all very kind, loving and dignified.
Gussie: What is the nicest thing that anyone has ever done for you?
Narciso: The nicest thing that anyone has ever done for me was to be a good friend.
Gussie: What do you want to be when you grow up?
Narciso: I never want to grow up!
